Take the A19 southbound and exit at the signpost for Easington, turn left at the Littlethorpe roundabout and continue along Thorpe Road for approximately 600 metres and turn right into the district council car park. the main reception (Building no. 10) is to the east of the car park.
By road from the south
Take the A19 northbound and exit at the signpost for Easington, take the first exit at the roundabout and continue along for 1 Kilometre onto Rosemary Lane, turn right at the ‘T’ junction after the Kings Head public house (which is on the right) onto Thorpe Road and continue along for approximately 100 metres then turn left into the district council car park. the main reception (Building no. 10) is to the east of the car park.
By road from the west
From Durham City take the A181 eastbound and continue on this road (ignoring the signpost for Hartlepool) which changes to the B1283 through Sherburn, Sherburn Hill and Haswell Plough, after leaving Haswell Plough, turn right at the ‘T’ junction then immediately left (remaining on the B1283) and continue along this road for approximately 3.5 Kilometres to a roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout and continue along for 1 Kilometre onto Rosemary Lane, turn right at the ‘T’ junction after the Kings Head public house (which is on the right) onto Thorpe Road and continue along for approximately 100 metres then turn left into the district council car park. the main reception (Building no. 10) is to the east of the car park.
By air from Newcastle airport
From the airport head south on the A696 to Newcastle (check directions to A19) then follow as road from north

From the airport head eastbound on the A66 to join the A19, then follow as road from south
