Young People aged between 11-16 years were invited from every secondary school within the District.
Over sixty young people attended the event with support from nine partner agencies. The aims of the day were to develop democracy and citizenship within our community, whereby young people could have a means to express their hopes, desires and impressions of the District. The young people worked around 6 main topic areas, identifying their perceived good and bad aspects within each area. The young people debated their findings and elected three main (priority) good and bad aspects.
