The sports development team work closely alongside the School Sports Partnerships in order to enhance opportunities for young people in sport, creating a platform for a healthy life of sport and exercise.

School Sport Partnerships (SSP's) are families of schools, brought together "to enhance sports opportunities for all."

Training Opportunities / Raising Standards

Training opportunities, organised centrally through Durham County Local Education Authority, are delivered locally and are offered to teachers, classroom assistants and other adults.
