About this service

'Working together to improve the future of Sport and Physical Activity in the District of Easington'

We aim to provide opportunities in a varied range  of sport and physical activity, creating pathways for people to progress in their chosen sport at all levels:

Our major priorities:

• development of key sporting events 
• improve the school to club sport links 
• provide advice and support to organisations and sports clubs 
• provide assistance with grant funding bids 
• co-ordinate and deliver holiday sport programmes for young people 
• implement National Initiatives in schools and clubs 
• provide training opportunities for coaches and volunteers 
• use sport as a tool to reduce anti social behaviour in local communities 
• raise awareness of the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyles 
• encourage lifelong participation in healthy activity
