European Funding Objective 3

The Regional Development plan (RDP) produce by the ONE Northeast provides the framework for the use of European Social Fund (ESF) Objective 3 Funds in the North East Region in the period 2000-2006.  The Objective 3 Programme for 2000-2006 is delivered under 5 policy fields and various measures that complement each other.

• Policy Field 1 Active Labour Market Policies
• Policy Field 2 Equal Opportunities for All and Promoting Social Inclusion
• Policy Field 3 Lifelong Learning
• Policy Field 4 Adaptability and Entrepreneurship
• Policy Field 5 Improving the Participation of Women in the Labour Market 

Objective 3 is delivered on a regional basis and a sub-regional basis through the Learning & Skills Council for County Durham.

European Structural Funds Voluntary Organisations Network (ESFVON North East) is a voluntary organisation that provides help to the voluntary sector who are seeking to make an application for European funds.
