A project is a piece of work you want to carry out which is extra to the usual day to day activities of your organisation and a good cause will have charitable, benevolent or philanthropic objectives. Your organisations intentions should be worthwhile and reflect current concerns where possible and meet identified needs and aim to deliver a long term difference.
There are many projects and good causes that have been funded in the District ranging from; new community buildings, purchase of specialist equipment to undertake a project, building an information and technology centre that will provide educational opportunities in the community.

In planning your project you will need to tell your prospective grant maker what you are going to do and what difference it will make to those who will benefit and how these actions meets the aims and priorities of the grant maker.
