Household waste - collection

We provide a weekly domestic refuse collection.  Your refuse will be collected on a designated day each week.

About this service

Things which cannot be put into the domestic waste bin include:

• rubble/bricks
• vehicle parts
• recyclables
• any items which may make your bin too heavy                    

Please do not overfill the bin as this may result in your bin not being emptied.

What you must do

Your wheeled bin needs to be placed at the kerbside or designated collection point by 7am on your normal collection day.

Some frequently asked questions

What if I am unable to place my bin at the kerbside?

We offer an assisted pullout service if you are disabled or infirm and you have no-one who is able to do this for you.

What should I do if my bin is not emptied?
