Why not work as a volunteer at one of our coast or countryside sites? As a volunteer you can take part in many different activities depending on your interests and abilities.
Practical countryside conservation work such as woodland or meadow management and access improvements are popular. Some volunteers choose to just keep an eye on their chosen site or carry out wildlife surveys and report back to the ranger. Others like to be involved with organising and running events or helping with school groups. There are also training opportunities with one day training events that cover subjects from geology and coastal birds to habitat management for water voles. It's up to you, just how much, or how little, you wish to be involved.
We would like to hear from anyone who would like to take an active part in looking after our coast and countryside.
Obtain a volunteer form from the Rangers (see contact details below), fill it out and return it to us.
Once a request for information about the volunteer project has been received a return call will be made at the rangers earliest convenience (within two weeks).
Contact us (see details below) and leave a contact name and telephone number, and the Rangers will get in touch with you, with details of how to get involved at their earliest convenience.
