Land and property - availability lists

Land and property for sale:

• the District of Easington occasionally disposes of surplus land and property

• any disposals are done by way of sealed tender

Land and property to let:

• other sites may be available to let, details of which are also found on our property list

 

About this service

The following are examples of the type of land and buildings often sold:

• surplus housing stock
• individual development plots
• large residential sites                       

The following may be available to let:

• shops
• grazing sites
• garage plots
• allotment plots                       

What you must do

If you are interested in the availability of future property lists and wish to be placed on the mailing list please contact the Asset and Property Management Unit with your details.

What we must do

Under Standing Orders and Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972, the District of Easington is obliged to obtain the best price available for any disposals.

What happens next?

An acknowledgement to correspondence will be received by the customer within seven working days and a full response will be provided within six weeks.
