Please note if you join the service and are eligible for Supporting People funding then your personal data will be held by the provider on behalf of Supporting People, and will be used in relation to your support service and charges. Your information may also be shared with the Housing Benefits section and with people from other organisations involved in arranging or providing services to you. We may also have to share your information if it is in the vital interest of your welfare or that of another person.
We are required by the Data Protection Act 1998 to obtain your consent to share information about you with other agencies and organisations that may be involved in providing services to you. You have a right to prevent this and therefore do not have to consent if you do not want your information shared. However, it may be difficult to provide you with some of the services you need if you do not give your consent.
