As from 1st April 2008 the current trial scheme will be replaced with a permanent plastic and cardboard recycling collection. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all residents who participated in the scheme. Due to the interest shown by residents a decision was to taken to introduce plastic and cardboard recycling across the district. As from 1st April 2008 purple bags should no longer be used for the recycling of cardboard and plastics.
These should be placed into your new green recycling bag as they can be recycled along with the other plastics.
