Welcome to the Warm Homes Campaign

The Warm Homes Campaign is the new and easy way for residents in Easington District find out how to save energy in their homes, reduce heating bills and learn about the insulation grants available to them.

The Campaign is part of a partnership between the local community and the District of Easington to promote the benefits of energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption in domestic properties and help reduce the effects of global warming.

There are many benefits to saving energy in your home. These range from having a warmer home by installing insulation measures and reducing your fuel bills to helping to save the environment by reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Approximately 25% of carbon dioxide emissions in the UK are as a result of the energy consumed by domestic properties. By saving energy in your home you will help reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere and thus help reduce Climate Change and Global Warming.
