Council Tax

Council Tax is a local tax on domestic dwellings set by local Councils to help pay for local services .This includes services provided by Durham County Council ,Durham Police Authority, Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service,The District Council and your Parish Council. Each of these sets its own budget each year which makes up part of your Council Tax Bill. Council tax (billing, recovery and enforcement) is administered by the Revenues Section which is part of the Directorate of Finance and Corporate Services of The District of Easington Council.
