If you have ideas on how to improve council services - want to have your say about what we are doing for you - want to make a difference where you live…. we would like to hear from you.
Easington District Council is an open, accessible council that listens to its citizens. It has a long history of public consultation and strongly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to influence the local plans and services that affect them and the communities they live in.
Residents are welcome at council meetings and quarterly area forums and many already tell us what they think at council meetings, councillor surgeries, at our quarterly Area Forums and via our public information kiosks. Their ideas have helped to shape and improve council services.
You can make a difference by letting us know your views.
We are inviting 1,000 people of all ages and from communities right across the district to join an advisory panel.
Anyone over the age of 16 can be a member but we need to make sure that the panel is fully representative of the population of the district. To help us do this we ask new members to fill in our recruitment questionnaire.
If you would like to apply to be a member of the panel and be able to comment on any current/future council plans please use this link.
