If you are making application using the full plans route you should submit two copies of plans together with a full plans application form and fee.
Note: If the fire precautions act applies to your development four copies of all plans relating to fire safety are required.
If you are experienced in the requirements of the building regulations applicable to the works being carried you may wish to use the Building Notice option. A building notice form giving a detailed description of all works proposed together with location site plans any supporting information and the building notice fee should be deposited.
Please note that if the fire precautions act applies to the development then a Full Plans application must be made.
If you are applying to have notifiable works, which have been previously carried out, regularised then it would be advisable to first contact a member of the building control team for informal advice.
