Rate Relief for Charities and Community Amateur Social Clubs

Charities are entitled to relief from rates on any non-domestic property that is wholly or mainly used for charitable purposes.

Sports clubs registered with the Inland Revenue as a Community Amateur Sports Club ( CASC ) are also entitled to relief from rates on any non-domestic property that is wholly or mainly used for the purpose of the club.

In both cases relief is given at 80% of the bill

What you must do

For your organisation to be considered for relief you must complete and return an application form.
