The Council can provide advice, information and assistance on all aspects of welfare benefits.
Our aim is to:
- promote the take-up of all benefits to the residents of the district
- to ensure the residents of the district are aware of all welfare benefits available
- to make sure residents maximise their income

The service is to provide every assistance the residents need to claim their benefit entitlement and there by maximise their income.
What you must do
The customer can contact the council either in writing, in person, or by telephone to request advice and guidance on all welfare benefits.
What happens next?
The service is confidential, impartial and free, we offer to provide residents with any assistance or advice they may need in the claiming of all welfare benefits.
