In accordance with statute, the Council is required to set both a Revenue and Capital budget for each financial year.
In addition, each year the Council reviews and updates its medium term financial strategy and plan, which covers three financial years.
The plan identifies the financial pressures facing the Council in the medium term and the anticipated level of resources that would be available to meet them.
The strategy and plan support the Councils Corporate Plan and link with the Councils' key objectives.
