Music lovers will be tapping their toes to an eclectic blend of live acts when an annual event gets underway next month.

District of Easington’s music festival, which runs from Saturday, 4 October to Sunday, 16 November, promises to deliver its usual array of musical talent and styles to suit all tastes.

As in previous years, its diverse programme of jazz, folk, pop and rock music will be held at venues around the district.

Performers include German rock band The Lennerockers, flute quartet The Byron Ensemble who play a mix of classical, contemporary and show tunes, and The Dualers, whose energetic blend of ska, soul and reggae is sure to please fans.

Festival-goers will also be able to enjoy the big band sounds of American Patrol and Rat Pack tribute band Ocean’s 11.

Colin Robson, District of Easington Council’s Arts Officer, said: “Once again we have a varied programme offering a wide range of sounds and styles that music lovers are sure to enjoy.

“As usual there is something for all tastes and ages including theatre productions, children’s performances, line dances and musical workshops.”
