• we will not pass on your e-mail address or any of your personal details to other organisations.  However, please note that if you choose to make your email address publicly available on our website (via a guest book for example), it may be picked up and used by companies who specialise in creating email distribution lists to send you unsolicited email (spam).         
• we do not use cookies for collecting personal information from the site.  We will not collect any information about you except that required for the operation of the website.         
• unless stated otherwise (For example: that you are viewing information over a secure connection) information transmitted over the internet is not secure and we cannot accept responsibility for misuse of information in this way. 
• this policy applies to the District of Easington website but not to the sites which we provide links.
